It’s almost February and the sun is starting to peak out of the clouds, but it’s still on the colder side, which isn’t uncommon for the UK. Layering is a trend that has been popular for years, but it’s also one that is known for often being difficult for curvy women. If you want to show off your curves, how can you when it’s cold outside and you need to wrap up? Blogger Queen Beady (aka Bee) recently tried our Bo Colourblock Cardigan while out on a walk to see how the layering piece fit and flattered for her curvy size 12 shape. Not only is Bee an incredibly chic Blogger, but her Twitter feed is full of posts that will make you laugh and her Instagram feed looks so good, you’ll want to follow her instantly. Here is what the lovely Bee had to say about Celuu:
“We went for a dog walk nearby and managed to get some gorgeous woodland shots of this Celuu Cardigan. I haven’t owned a cardigan in a long, long, long time because I thought they were super unflattering on my curvy, size 12 frame. Except this one kinda just fits perfectly and did I mention how bloody cosy it is? It’s been the perfect winter warmer for those frosty days.”
“I’ve been leaning to some plus size suppliers like Celuu (who caters for size’s 12 – 24 and a particular piece even managed to make me look slimmer? How in the heck?) But I’d love it, if more “curve” ranges could also cater for the lower end of the scale because let’s face it, this bod is all about dem curves galdem.”
At Celuu, we’re proud to be able to provide high-quality clothing that not only looks great but fits exactly how it should. We believe that curvy size 12-22s are often forgotten about, which is why we made sure we could create a brand that celebrates curves. Sizes don’t always take shape into consideration, which is what we’ve done when creating our collections. Our Designers alter each size so that they can all look incredible and that’s one of the most important parts of our Fit Philosophy.
We wanted to create a flattering cardigan that ticks all the boxes. Neutrals are a big trend that is here so stay, so we thought a light beige would be an effortless colour to style. We also added a subtle colour blocking to add warmth and a longer length, so it can be worn stylishly with dresses or over trousers.
